No. The I Am Breath Method gives me a framework for understanding and responding to your body, but your session doesn't need to become an anatomy lesson or an investigation every time you book.

Some clients want to understand what I'm noticing, explore movement patterns, and learn more about their bodies. Others simply want to relax, receive skilled massage, and feel better.

Both are completely welcome.

Sessions are designed for adults and adolescents seeking massage and myofascial bodywork for pain, stress, movement concerns, recovery, greater body awareness—or simply because a good massage sounds like exactly what you need.

You don't need to arrive with a specific problem to solve. Every session is adapted to your age, goals, comfort, health history, and what you want from your time.

Clients under 18 require consent from a parent or legal guardian, who must remain present throughout the appointment.

The I Am Breath Method™ begins with discovery before treatment, with myofascial work providing the physical foundation for how I approach the body.

Rather than immediately applying pressure or following a routine, I begin by slowing down, listening through touch, and allowing the body time to respond. From there, I may incorporate techniques such as trigger point work, acupressure, craniosacral sequences, Shiatsu, muscle testing, breath awareness, and other approaches as appropriate.

Your session responds to your goals, your comfort, and what your body communicates that day.

And sometimes, what you need is simply a really good massage. That's okay too.

I bring the professional massage table, fresh linens, bolsters, oils or lotions, and other supplies needed for your session. You provide a quiet, comfortable area with enough room for the table and for me to move around it safely.

Before your appointment, you'll receive everything you need to prepare. Access, parking, stairs, pets, children, and any special considerations can be discussed ahead of time so the appointment feels simple and unhurried.

We begin by discussing how you're feeling, what you hope to address, and any changes since booking. When appropriate, I may also observe movement, posture, or patterns of compensation to help guide the session.

Once hands-on work begins, I don't rush immediately into deep pressure. I allow time to slowly sink into the tissues, giving your body an opportunity to become comfortable with my touch while I begin listening to how it responds.

From there, the session develops according to your goals, comfort, and your body's responses. I'll communicate clearly, ask for consent, and welcome feedback about pressure, positioning, draping, or anything else affecting your experience.

Appointments are scheduled online through PocketSuite. You'll select your session, review availability, complete the required intake information, and receive your appointment details and reminders.

For new clients, we'll also have a brief phone or Zoom Discovery Consultation before your appointment so I can learn more about what you're looking for and we can address any questions before we meet.

Payment is handled securely through PocketSuite and completed as directed during the booking and appointment process.
